Robert Goux, trading as HeartBeat Community, is a Drum Circle Facilitator with a background of playing drums and percussion for over 15 years.
Having trained with Arthur Hull, who is widely seen as the father of the modern facilitated drum circle, Robert is well equipped to help individuals realise their musical potential and connect with others musically.
Robert has gained a wide experience of running drum circle workshops in a variety of different settings globally. As well as working with various groups in the UK, Robert also worked aboard with charities and NGO’s based in India and in Nepal. The joy of drum circle music is that it crosses all cultures, abilities, ages and backgrounds. Everyone is able to experience the full benefits that this universal activity can have.
Robert uses instruments are easily accessible to those new to drumming but using instruments from across the globe including African, Asian, the Middle Eastern and South American instruments showing that we are all connected through rhythm.
